ABOUT VCG

We're not consultants. We're operators who code.

VCG is a team of NetSuite developers with deep roots in finance operations. We've spent years on the inside of controllers' offices, finance ops teams, and accounting closes across four continents - building the tools we wished existed.

Real developers. Real finance experience. Real conversations.
- OUR STORY -

A controller shouldn't have to fix her own implementation.

Our founder spent five years doing analytics at SAP, moved into accounting, then landed at a NetSuite consulting firm. The work was good. The pattern wasn't. Every engagement ended the same way: build the SOW, hand over the keys, disappear. If the controller couldn't actually close the books on day five, that was her problem now.

VCG started as a bet that you could do this differently. Implement systems that work for the people who rely on them. Stay through the first close. Stay through the fifth. If something you recommended breaks, pick up the phone. The team grew with controllers who'd gotten tired of explaining their own close process to consultants, and data engineers who cared about what finance needed on the other end of a report.

The firm got sharper, not bigger. Multi-subsidiary consolidation. ARM revenue recognition. M&A integrations. Managed services. Work that requires knowing the accounting as well as the platform, and being around long enough to answer for it.

- WHERE WE WORK -

Eight countries. Four continents. One Slack channel.

Finance teams everywhere have the same problems. We've learned that the hard way, in eight different time zones.

Three things we do well, and nothing we don't.

We stay narrow on purpose. It's how we stay sharp.

Discipline 01

NetSuite development

SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, Suitelets, Map/Reduce scripts, custom records, saved searches, datasets - the parts of NetSuite that finance teams actually live in. We've shipped to accounts across North America, Europe, and Asia, in manufacturing, distribution, energy, and SaaS.

Discipline 02

Finance operations

We've built close calendars, intercompany processes, revenue automations, and approval chains for real finance teams. We talk to controllers in their language because we've sat next to them through too many month-ends. That context shapes every line of code we write.

Discipline 03

Managed services

We don't hand over the keys and disappear. After go-live, we stay on as your NetSuite team. Monthly administration, script maintenance, saved search builds, user support, and the kind of ongoing configuration work that piles up when your internal team is busy closing the books. Most of our clients have been with us for years.

01

Peer-to-peer, not vendor-to-customer

You'll talk to a developer on the first call. Not a sales engineer, not an account exec. The same person who'll write your code is the person scoping it. That's not a luxury - it's the only way we know how to work.

02

We ship in days, not quarters

Most engagements go live in two to four weeks. Our productized rollouts go live within a week. We don't believe in discovery phases that end in slide decks. We believe in working code that you can poke at on Friday.

03

We say no a lot

We turn down work outside our lane. We've never built a Salesforce integration, a Workday migration, or a custom ERP. We know what we're good at, and we know the seams. Hiring us means hiring depth in a narrow place - that's the trade.

Want to talk? No forms, no funnels.

Send us a note

A NetSuite specialist will read it - usually within one business day. Bring your saved search, bring your headache, bring your skepticism. We'll bring honest answers about whether we can help.
